About your Doula
Kirsten is a Certified Full Spectrum Doula through Doula Trainings International with 6 years experience as a doula and over 10 years of experience as an infant nanny. After the birth of her first child Kirsten realized how lacking support was for postpartum parents and decided that she wanted to devote her life to making sure all new parents had the support they deserved.
Early on in her postpartum doula career Kirsten realized that almost all of her clients were in need of nutritional support. So she started cooking for her clients while the baby slept at night. That quickly morphed into Kirsten creating her own postpartum menu that was specifically formulated to help replenish nutrients lost during pregnancy, promotes healing, supports the postpartum body, and foods that meet the high caloric needs of lactating parents.
After a few years of working as a Postpartum doula, Kirsten decided it was time to offer birth support as well. She is also very passionate about making sure all birthing individuals have the advocate they need in their birthing space.
The first birth Kirsten attended as a birth doula was the stillbirth of her goddaughter Mazerine. That experience showed her how lacking support was for those going through loss. It made such an impact on Kirsten that she decided to offer free birth support for those experiencing loss.

Kirsten accepts clients using Carrot Benefits and has experience working with many Carrot clients.
At this time Kirsten does not accept clients who are wanting to use Kaiser benefits. While Kirsten has loved supporting births at Kaiser Hospitals, the program rolled out by Kaiser in 2025 is not covering the full cost of doula services and is taking months to reimburse the doulas supporting their patients. Hopefully Kaiser will iron out the program soon and Kirsten will be able to accept clients using Kaiser benefits soon.
